Delicious Tomato Avocado Melts

Love toast in the morning, but tired of putting plain ol' melted butter on top? If yes, here is a great, new, breakfast or even lunch. All it consists of is tomato's, avocados, cheese and of course bread. These delicious melts will make you coming back for more. Here's how to make this delicious tomato avocado melts.

First, you will need to ingredients below:

Mozzarella cheese (a block like in the picture above is fine. Even chopped is fine!)
1/4 of a full avocado
1 Tomato
1 piece of bread

The above ingredients is for one piece of toast only. If you would like more than one piece, double the ingredients needed.

Next, a very easy step, toast the bread. You can do this anyway you normally toast your bread. I used a toaster. Other options are a toaster oven, or even your kitchen oven. After that is completed, the next step is also easy. Take the tomato, 1/4 of the full avocado, and the mozzarella cheese and cut them up. Be sure to cut them up into medium size cubes or small cubes. You want to get as many pieces of the three ingredients on the toast. I recommend getting as much cheese pieces on the toast. This is where pre-cut blocks on cheese come in handy! If you buy them already cut, you can easily place them onto the toast.

Once everything is cut, place them onto your toast however you wish to. For the cheese, I like to place them anywhere possible. Although the above picture shows otherwise, I like to make sure no cheese is touching. Also, make sure the cheese is evenly spread out. This will make sure the cheese melts evenly throughout the toast. The last tip I have about the cheese is to not have some or any of the cheese on the sides, if you can prevent that from happening. When the cheese starts to melt, you won't have the cheese melting off the side of the toast. While you finished cooking the melts, the cheese will be even, and it will all stay on the toast.

Now, the last thing to do is stick that tomato avocado melt into the oven. There is no real set time for how long you should bake this. I like to bake is for about 5 to 10 minutes. The time all depends on how you like your cheese to be melted. I like my cheese to be melted and no longer hard, so I wait and keep an eye on it. Another thing I would like to add, is if you like your toast and cheese to be slightly warm, pop the melt into the oven and wait a few minutes. Some people don't like warm avocados and tomato's, I can relate. If you can handle warm avocados and tomato's, but what that melted cheese, do the steps I just recommended. To wrap it up, first time you try this, watch your melt and decide how you would like the melt to be and taste.
